The simple design of this tablescape is created with just the right balance of design elements, color, and polka dots! The classic red and white colors of Valentine’s Day are the inspiration for this tablescape.
To begin, we start with the adorable red and white linen, polka dot table runner and napkins; all from Pottery Barn. The foundation for the place setting is the fabulous and versatile shiny square white placemat from Z Gallerie. Next, we add the lovely pressed glass charger; this element adds a touch of polished style and can be found at the lovely home store, Bowring, in Calgary, Canada. To balance this design we added the charming red accent plate with white polka dots from TJ Maxx Home Store. Lastly, for additional visual interest we added the white final with the red tassel from Hobby Lobby craft stores.
We love candles! They create a unique ambience any time of day. The white candle stick is from Pier One and the glass votive candle holder can be purchased at WalMart. We finished off this tablescape with the quintessential Valentine flower – the rose.
