Arachnid Meatballs

 

 

 

 

 

Culinary Tools: 3-quart Mixing Bowl, 10 ½” Skillet

Ingredients:

  • ¼ pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ pound lean ground pork
  • ¼ cup onion, minced
  • ½ tablespoon garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • ¼ tablespoon allspice
  • ½ tablespoon nutmeg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

 

In the 3-quart Mixing Bowl, mix all ingredients.  Divide the meat mixture into 2 even parts and shape into spider bodies.  Preheat the 10 ½” Skillet at medium heat for 3 minutes.  Place meatballs, turn heat to medium-low and brown all sides for about 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
