Sorbet Ingredients:
- 2.5 pounds frozen strawberries
- 2 cups low-fat yogurt
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup honey
Garnish Ingredients:
- 10 small ice cream cones
- 10 regular ice cream cones
- ½ cup white decorating icing
- ½ cup blue decorating icing
- ½ cup red decorating icing
- Fresh fruit
- Assorted candies
Procedure:
Process frozen strawberries using the Xtractor. Combine the content from both Xtractor containers with the yogurt, powdered sugar, and honey in the 5-quart Mixing Bowl. Mix well and place sorbet in the freezer to harden (about 30 minutes). In the meantime, decorate the small ice cream cones with the icing (these cones will be used as hats). Place sorbet on regular cones, and garnish the clowns with your favorite candies and fresh fruits.
Chef’s Tip: Before removing sorbet from the freezer, have all decorations handy. This way, you will prevent the little clowns from melting while you’re decorating them. Also, this recipe makes 10 cones so bring them to your neighborhood block party or invite your friends over for a bar-b-que!
