- 1-quart Mixing Bowl
- 3-quart Mixing Bowl with Cover
- ½ pound (2) blue fin tuna slices, thick
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 tablespoons virgin olive oil
- 2/3 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2/3 tablespoon basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the Round Grill at medium heat for 4 minutes. Add tuna slices previously seasoned with salt and pepper; make sure they are evenly places so they both brown. Turn the filets over after 3 minutes or until they don’t stick on the grill finish browning the other side.
In the 1-quart Mixing Bowl, add the lime juice, olive oil, crushed red pepper, basil and more salt if necessary; mix well. In the 3-quart Mixing Bowl, place the tuna slices and pour the mixture over the filets evenly; cover. Let marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
