- 10 ½” Skillet with Cover
- Paring Knife
- 3 sweet red, Gala apples
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoons butter
- ½ cinnamon stick
With the Paring Knife remove the core from the apples, carefully peel them off and dice them. Preheat the skillet at medium-high temperatures for about 3 minutes. Add ½ tablespoon butter and ¾ tablespoon sugar. Place the apples and let them cook for 10 minutes.
Add remaining butter and sugar. Add cinnamon stick; cover the skillet with the Redy-cook valve closed and cook for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Chef’s Tip: Serve with a garnish of whipped cream and chopped nuts.
